    here is the light:

the lanyard is very decorative, but it fell off after a bit of use (came untied)

not the biggest fan of the font, but I'm told these are geared towards more of the female population

This little guy has an extremely deep reflector!
The reflector is actuall a hybrid -- half Light orange peel, and  half smooth, the orange peel is in the back.

    Impressions
As stated in the title, this little AA light is meant as a user friendly gift light with an exceptional design. I haven't seen this hexagonal shape in a light of this size before. The shape is the perfect antiroll ;)

The light is easy to grip in hand, and simple to activate. The rear switch is a reverse clicky, that is - you press the switch, then release for lights, and feels very solid to activate. The button is smaller than usual, but this seems to be no problem. The UI is a simple commonly found 5 mode, (high-med-low-strobe-SOS) and includes mode memory (the light will remember the last mode you left it on). The light will memorize the mode if you leave it on for 2-3 seconds, otherwise it will change to the next mode. personally, this is a bit annoying that you have to go through strobe and SOS to go from low to high mode, but to each their own.

performance of the light is rather interesting due to the hybrid op/smo reflector. the light has has somewhat smoothed out rings from the OP portion, yet still retains *some* throw from the SMO portion. the beam is rather tight for a smaller light like this, so I'm not sure how well it'll do with general use. Then again, this makes it more impressive as a pocket rocket!

As a gift to the less picky general user of lights, I beleive this would do fine, if not better than fine. For a flashaholic, there are a few parts I would like to correct, notably with the UI, and I would like to slightly shorten the reflector.
